The machine is designed to handle corrugated boards up to 8.5mm thick.

INDIA – India-based corrugated packaging solutions provider Aero Packaging has strengthened its converting capabilities with the procurement of a new automated die-cutting system from Robus India, reflecting continued investment by domestic converters in productivity, precision and automation.
The company has installed the Confidence Series MHC-1300F, a heavy-duty die-cutting machine designed for cutting and creasing applications in corrugated carton production.
The system is positioned for high-throughput operations and is aimed at supporting Aero Packaging’s growing requirements across customized and value-added corrugated packaging formats.
According to Robus India, the MHC-1300F features servo-based control architecture, integrated vision systems and IoT-enabled functionalities that allow real-time process monitoring and improved consistency in output.
The “F” designation in the model name refers to its advanced automatic feeding arrangement, which is intended to enhance operational efficiency while reducing manual intervention.
In terms of performance, the machine is rated to operate at speeds of up to 5,500 sheets per hour and can process sheets with a maximum size of 1,290mm × 940mm.
It is engineered to handle corrugated boards up to 8.5mm thick, accommodating a broad range of flute profiles and paper grades commonly used in secondary and tertiary packaging applications.
Aero Packaging said the addition of the die-cutter aligns with its strategy of deploying modern, high-capability equipment across its manufacturing operations.
The company supplies finished corrugated packaging products to a range of customers and operates a mixed fleet of machinery to meet varying design and volume requirements.
Rajat Sharma, an official at Aero Packaging, said the investment reflects the company’s focus on building long-term customer trust through technology-led manufacturing.
“Being a trusted partner for corrugated cartons, we have built up the trust of customers with our commitment and the fleet of capable machines which we currently run,” he said. “Cutting-edge machines and technologies in our manufacturing facility have been chosen wisely.”
He added that the Confidence Series MHC-1300F offers strong value for money, combining automation, speed and precision.
“It is ideally a system for corrugated carton production with unsurpassed automation, speed, precision and efficiency. We always stay at the forefront of innovation with the constant adoption of such modern and capable machines,” Sharma noted.
For Robus India, the installation adds to its growing footprint in the Indian corrugated packaging sector.
The company said its die-cutting systems are being increasingly adopted by converters looking to improve throughput, reduce wastage and meet rising demand for complex carton designs driven by e-commerce, FMCG and industrial packaging applications.
The investment underscores a broader trend in India’s corrugated packaging industry, where converters are upgrading equipment to support higher volumes, tighter tolerances and more customized box formats, as brand owners place greater emphasis on packaging performance, efficiency and consistency.
