The ACP-700 enables product changeovers in under three minutes, drastically reducing downtime and errors.

UAE – Global food packaging leader Ishida is set to make waves at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 with the debut of its ACP-700 Series Case Packer, a high-speed automated system engineered to meet the evolving demands of the region’s snack industry.
The unveiling, taking place at Stand C3-4 in Hall 3 from November 4 to 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, marks Ishida’s strengthened commitment to the Middle East market.
Designed to tackle one of the sector’s most persistent challenges, labor shortages in case packing, the ACP-700 automates traditionally manual processes with speed, precision, and reliability.
Capable of handling up to 20 cases and 150 bags per minute, the system integrates bag infeed, alignment, sorting, packing, and case closing into a compact, fully automated unit.
“Case packing in the Middle East presents unique challenges,” explains Jim McGregor, Product Specialist at Ishida Europe.
“It has long been a manual operation, vulnerable to errors and inefficiencies, especially during long shifts. As manufacturers invest in automation, they need solutions that deliver speed, consistency, and retail-ready quality, exactly what the ACP-700 is designed to provide.”
The ACP-700 enables product changeovers in under three minutes, drastically reducing downtime and errors.
Its intuitive touchscreen interface allows operators to select from up to 500 pack presets, making it easy for non-specialized staff to manage operations efficiently. The result is a system that not only boosts productivity but also reduces reliance on skilled labor.
Flexibility is central to the design. The ACP-700 accommodates different pack formats and case sizes, helping producers respond swiftly to shifting retail requirements.
Its precise packing ensures optimized shelf presentation and faster restocking, a growing priority for snack brands aiming to enhance on-shelf visibility and consumer appeal.
At the event, Ishida will showcase the ACP-700 as part of a fully operational snack packaging line, featuring the CCW-AS multihead weigher, Inspira RD33 rotary bagmaker with auto splice module, and TSC-AS inline seal tester.
Complementing these are Ishida’s advanced IX-PD and IX-EN X-ray inspection systems, the DACS-GN checkweigher, and the AI-powered Sentinel 5.0 production monitoring platform, which together form a complete intelligent in-line solution.
“The Middle East is rapidly emerging as a major hub for snack production,” McGregor adds.
“Our expanding team of engineers in Dubai, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey ensures we can deliver fast, expert support to our customers. Our investment in regional infrastructure and participation in Gulfood Manufacturing reflect our deep commitment to this fast-evolving market.”
Ishida invites snack producers and food manufacturers to visit Stand C3-4, Hall 3 to experience how the company’s advanced automation technologies can streamline production, enhance efficiency, and prepare businesses for the next era of smart packaging.
