Nilpeter unifies Latin American operations under Nilpeter Latam to sharpen regional focus

The consolidation unites sales, service, spare parts, and customer care into a single regional setup.

SOUTH AMERICA – Nilpeter has consolidated all its activities across Latin America into a single regional organisation, Nilpeter Latam, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the region and streamlining how it supports converters and brand owners.

Headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, the new structure brings together sales, service, spare parts and customer care under one umbrella, serving markets from Argentina to Mexico.

The move represents a key milestone in Nilpeter’s global strategy, aimed at delivering faster response times, closer customer collaboration and a clearer market presence in strategically important regions.

Latin America has been part of Nilpeter’s growth story for decades and today accounts for an installed base of more than 1,000 Nilpeter presses, particularly in narrow- and mid-web label and flexible packaging applications.

By unifying its regional activities, Nilpeter is building on an already well-established local footprint that includes a strategic spare parts infrastructure and an experienced technical support organization

The company says the new setup will improve coordination across countries, reduce complexity for customers and enhance consistency in service delivery.

“Nilpeter Latam is a natural next step for us,” said Rubens Wilmers, managing director, Nilpeter Latam, who will lead both commercial and operational activities across the region.

“We already have strong local expertise and customer relationships. Consolidating into one organization makes it simpler for customers to engage with us and allows us to deliver the service, know-how and speed they expect.”

The dedicated Latin American sales and customer care teams will continue to operate close to customers, while benefiting from tighter integration with Nilpeter’s global technology platform, R&D and innovation roadmap.

According to the company, this balance between local presence and global connectivity is increasingly critical as converters in the region invest in higher productivity, automation and sustainable printing solutions.

The consolidation comes at a time when the Latin American label and packaging market is showing renewed momentum, driven by growth in FMCG, pharmaceuticals and export-oriented food and beverage sectors.

Across Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, converters are upgrading equipment to meet rising demand for shorter runs, faster changeovers and more sustainable substrates.

Several global press manufacturers have recently expanded regional service hubs or partnerships in Latin America, underlining the market’s strategic importance.

Nilpeter CEO Peter Eriksen said the launch of Nilpeter Latam sharpens the company’s regional focus while remaining aligned with its global ambitions.

“Our goal is to be the preferred printing partner in every region where we operate. Latin America has been a loyal and important market for decades. With Nilpeter Latam, we are aligning our resources to support customers even better – locally, quickly and consistently.”

For converters, the move signals Nilpeter’s intent to deepen long-term partnerships in the region, combining proximity and responsiveness with access to global innovation.

As competition intensifies and customer expectations rise, Nilpeter Latam positions the company to play a more agile and visible role in Latin America’s evolving printing and packaging landscape.
