SAUDI ARABIA – Napco National has acquired Arabian Flexible Packaging, a longstanding player in the flexible packaging sector.

The deal, effective August 1, 2025, through its Dubai-based subsidiary Napco Investment LLC, is set to bolster the company’s regional expansion while aligning with the UAE’s In-Country Value localization framework.

According to company officials, this acquisition integrates Arabian Flexible Packaging’s expertise in rotogravure printing and diverse substrates like polypropylene, polyester, nylon, polyethylene, foil, and paper.

Established in 1982 as part of the Ghurair Group, the firm employs over 150 people and supplies major multinational food and confectionery brands across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

The transaction, facilitated by advisors including Indevco Consultancy, PwC, DH Corporate Advisory, and Clyde & Co LLP, aims to expand Napco National’s packaging portfolio and improve customer responsiveness through localized production.

In a statement, Marwan Frem, Chief Operating Officer of Napco National, emphasized the strategic fit: “This acquisition aligns with our commitment to deliver sustainable, customer-centric packaging solutions across the region.”

“We are confident that the cultural and operational fit between our organizations will ensure long-term success and value for our stakeholders. By consolidating market share, we proudly strengthen our position as a leader in the markets we serve.”
