Neopac strengthens global sales team with new executive appointment

Seasoned industry expert Bernd Steiner has been appointed to the Executive Management Team, where he will oversee global sales strategy.

SWITZERLAND – Neopac, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty and oral care, has appointed Bernd Steiner as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and member of the Executive Management Team, effective August 18, 2025.

This strategic appointment of Bernd Steiner to the Executive Management Team, where he will oversee global sales strategy, underscores Neopac’s commitment to enhancing its international sales operations.

In his new role as Chief Sales Officer, Mr. Steiner will lead the planning and oversight of Neopac’s international sales strategy and operations, including identifying new market opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.

With over three decades of expertise in the plastics and packaging sectors, Mr. Steiner has a proven track record of driving global sales, spearheading business growth, and delivering customer-centric strategies.

Mr. Steiner’s demonstrated expertise in fostering sustainable growth and adapting sales strategies to shifting market trends, coupled with his strategic vision, will play a key role in advancing Neopac’s global expansion efforts.

“I am pleased to join Neopac, a company known for its high-quality, sustainable packaging solutions and strong customer focus,” said Bernd Steiner.

“Together with the team, I look forward to supporting our customers and partners worldwide with innovative packaging concepts.”

Mr. Steiner takes over from outgoing Chief Sales Officer Martina Christiansen, who is set to retire in Spring 2026.

Over her 16-year tenure as Sales Director, Martina has played a pivotal role in expanding Neopac’s footprint across Europe, the United States, and Asia.

Her strategic initiatives and customer-centric approach have significantly contributed to the company’s growth and global partnerships.

Her deep commitment to the pharmaceutical tube industry, along with her dependable leadership and professional excellence, has left a meaningful legacy in the company’s growth and global partnerships.

“We look forward to working with Bernd, whose global perspective and strategic leadership will help elevate our sales organization to new levels,” said Manfred Zurkirch, CEO of Neopac Group.

“At the same time, we would like to extend our deep appreciation to Martina Christiansen for her invaluable contributions and years of dedicated service.”

Neopac serves long-established clients in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and oral care sectors across Europe, North America, and Asia.

With approximately 980 employees and an annual production capacity of 1.3 billion tubes, the company is firmly committed to sustainability, using renewable electricity in its operations and offering an eco-friendly packaging portfolio as a core part of its corporate ethos.

Last month, Neopac secured two prestigious Tubes of the Year Awards from the USA Tube Council for its Polyfoil® tube used for Voltaren Arthritis Pain Relief Gel.
