USA – PATH announced the launch of two limited-edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem bottles in partnership with Paramount Consumer Products.
The 16.9-ounce aluminum bottles are BPA free and contain ultra-purified still water with added electrolytes and a balanced 7.5 pH.
Individual bottles will be sold for US$1.99 and are 100% recyclable and refillable. The launch comes just in time to celebrate the new feature film from Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” in theaters now.
PATH has continued to make an impact in the fight to end single-use plastic through co-branded partnerships.
Additionally, the brand aims to make sustainability and hydration fun for parents and kids with their limited-edition character bottle designs.
PATH’s Co-Founder and CEO, Shadi Bakour, in a statement, said: “In response to rising consumer demand for sustainable solutions, we’re proud to partner with like-minded brands to create innovative products that reflect cultural trends.
“With Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’ joining forces with PATH, we’re witnessing an exciting convergence of pop culture and environmental responsibility.”
Paramount Consumer Products is responsible for managing licensing and merchandizing for its parent global media and entertainment company Paramount.
In 2020, PATH announced the launch of its sparkling, alkaline, and still-water lines, all in recyclable aluminium bottles.
Since its inception, PATH has saved more than 350 million single-use plastic bottles from oceans and landfills.
On average, consumers refill their PATH bottles up to seven times, making PATH an affordable, sleek, and sustainable way to consume water.
Through the unique limited-edition-characters bottle designs, PATH said it aims to make hydration and sustainability more enjoyable for both parents and their children.
In 2020, PathWater launched its sparkling, alkaline and still water lines in reusable, recyclable and refillable aluminium bottles.
The new products added electrolytes with updated pH balance alongside rebranding its packaging. The brushed-aluminium refillable bottles are sleek and functional in design. To encourage reuse, the bottles have been designed with minimum branding.
By 2025, the global bottled water market is anticipated to reach US$307.6 billion. Alkaline and sparkling water are expected to contribute largely to the growth.
PathWater CEO and co-founder Shadi Bakour, at the time, said: “Our newly enhanced, reusable bottled water and design is disrupting an industry that needs to change in a major way.
“We continue to prove that we can be both functional and sustainable, and we’re proud to showcase the next generation of bottled water, further solidifying ourselves as the leader in the eco-friendly water space.”
