UK – ULMA Packaging UK has appointed Paul Morican as managing director, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across packaging technology, processing equipment, and industrial manufacturing sectors to the automation and packaging solutions provider.

Morican joins from machinery manufacturer Handtmann, where he held senior leadership roles.

His career began as a Royal Naval officer before transitioning into the packaging equipment sector in 1996, with subsequent experience across industrial coding and marking, industrial processing, and food processing sectors.

The appointment comes as manufacturers across the UK and Ireland increasingly invest in automation, efficiency, and sustainable packaging solutions.
