GEW appoints Exact Solutions for UV Curing in Nigeria, Ghana, strengthening label, packaging printing support

GHANA – GEW has appointed Exact Solutions as its distributor for sheetfed, label and narrow web UV curing systems in Nigeria and Ghana, strengthening after-sales support and technical service for the UK manufacturer’s growing West African customer base.

The partnership, announced on 17 August 2026, brings together GEW’s industry-leading LED and UV curing technology with Exact Solutions’ established engineering expertise and regional presence. 

Exact Solutions, headed by founder and CEO George Ugwu, already represents leading brands including Koenig & Bauer, Screen, Kolbus and Meccanotecnica, with a strong reputation in the West African printing and label market. 

Technical Support and Customer Service Enhancement

David Lyus, international sales manager at GEW, stated that the appointment is a major step forward for GEW in West Africa and will greatly enhance support and after-sales service for customers in the region. 

He added that with Exact Solutions’ long industry experience, strong technical capabilities and laser focus on customer service, users of GEW’s equipment now have the local support to match, and the company is excited to join forces and begin developing the market further.

Exact Solutions’ engineering team is trained to global standards and has successfully managed complex installations for leading commercial printers, publishers and packaging converters across Nigeria and Ghana.
