INDIA – Baumer HHS has unveiled its next-generation CorrBox Solution range for adhesive application and quality control on Flexo Folder-Gluers (FFG), offering a scalable and modular approach to gluing automation for the corrugated packaging industry.
The new product family, CorrBox Solution Go, Evo, and Pro, is designed to meet the diverse needs of converters, from entry-level operations to high-end production lines.
The CorrBox Solution Go replaces the company’s earlier FFG Go system, targeting straightforward gluing applications with improved reliability and control.
For high-volume manufacturers, the CorrBox Solution Evo integrates advanced quality control and supports one- or two-sided configurations for greater flexibility.
It also offers an Inverto unit, allowing adhesive application from the top or bottom, ideal for producing shipping and folding boxes at high speeds.
Meanwhile, the CorrBox Solution Pro caters to converters seeking maximum flexibility and premium quality, adding specialized functions such as Slot and Bundle24 for complex manufacturing requirements.
All three models are powered by Baumer HHS’s proven PX 1000 multi-application head, KPE 6 and KPE 9 adhesive pumps, and a unified intuitive HMI interface for easy process control.
“Our new modular CorrBox Solution family gives customers in the corrugated industry all the tools they need to tailor gluing and quality assurance to their FFG applications, both economically and technically,” said Thomas Walther, Head of Corporate Strategy and Innovation at Baumer HHS.
To enhance precision, the CorrBox Solution Evo integrates the CS 1000 optical sensor, which monitors each glue strip even at maximum machine speeds, detecting adhesives on both brown and white corrugated materials, a combination that covers nearly 80% of folding box production.
For printed materials, the Pro model employs the PGD 1000 sensor, capable of evaluating adhesive presence and quality regardless of background print, ensuring consistent results across varying substrates.
Another standout feature is Glue Save Mode, an intelligent stitching technology that can reduce adhesive consumption by up to 50% while maintaining, and in some cases improving, box compression strength.
“Reduced adhesive consumption, stronger boxes, and lower costs, that’s a threefold advantage for corrugated packaging manufacturers,” added Walther.
Both the Evo and Pro models feature the Xtend3 controller, recognized for its user-friendly interface and broad configuration capabilities, while the Xact controller manages the simplified operations of the Go variant.
With this release, Baumer HHS strengthens its position as a technology leader in precision adhesive application and inline quality control, helping converters optimize performance, cut waste, and deliver higher-quality corrugated packaging at scale.
