UK – Celebration Packaging has launched new zero-touch wooden cutlery dispensers with premium wooden single-use cutlery.
This innovative product combines hygiene, sustainability, and convenience in a single, compact unit.
Designed to address concerns over hygiene and waste, the dispenser allows consumers to access cutlery without touching any shared surfaces.
By simply pulling the handle of the desired utensil, users minimize the risk of contamination from bacteria and viruses, a significant improvement over traditional open cutlery trays often associated with increased germ spread.
The dispenser promotes sustainability by reducing waste, as users only take what they need, decreasing the likelihood of excess cutlery being discarded. Crafted from premium wood, the cutlery is a biodegradable alternative to plastic.
“This is the world’s most hygienic zero-touch wooden cutlery dispenser,” said Celebration Packaging Managing Director Nick Burton.
“For end-users, there are no levers or buttons to press, as they simply pull the cutlery handle from the dispenser.
“This creates a sanitary dispensing solution, significantly reducing the chance of contamination by bacteria, germs, and viruses, which is common with traditional open cutlery trays and pots.”
The dispenser is durable and features transparent housing to monitor cutlery levels easily.
Its compact design suits various settings, including self-service areas, takeaways, and food courts.
Celebration Packaging emphasizes the dispenser’s ease of use and maintenance, with refill packs that are hygienically sealed and can be quickly installed.
The company also highlights the branding opportunities offered by the dispenser, which allows food service operators to promote their brands or special offers.
“These dispensers offer a professional, minimalist, modern-looking, practical, and organized solution, especially when compared to messy and unorganized open cutlery trays or pots, which are often a hotbed for germs, viruses, and bacteria,” added Burton.
By combining hygiene, sustainability, and convenience, Celebration Packaging’s zero-touch cutlery dispenser is a compelling proposition for the food service industry.
Early in the year, the company launched a new range of tamper-evident food packaging made from a minimum of 30% recycled PET.
The range, introduced under the firm’s SolutionWare brand, includes sandwich packs, rectangular salad containers with hinged lids, and deli containers with separate lids.
“Our new ranges of high-clarity tamper-evident food containers feature a patented safety lock lid, giving tamper-proof protection to prepared foods,” Celebration Packaging MD Nick Burton said at the time.
“These new ranges are manufactured with a minimum of 30% post-consumer rPET recycled plastic and are therefore not liable for the plastic packaging tax. Once used, the packaging can be rinsed and recycled through kerbside collection.”
Both the rectangular tamper-evident rPET salad containers with hinged lids and the square tamper-evident rPET deli containers with separate lids are available in 8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 24oz, and 32oz sizes. An rPET tamper-evident triangular sandwich pack with hinged lid is also available.
