For the first time, China has officially laid down comprehensive environmental regulations for packaging in the express delivery industry, marking a significant milestone in the country’s sustainability journey.
In 2024, China’s parcel volume surged to over 175 billion, representing a 21% increase from the previous year.

Steps toward more sustainable packaging are underway across various areas.
For instance, In Zhejiang Province, a packaging firm produces corrugated paper exclusively from recycled cardboard using a closed-loop process.
Likewise, a manufacturer in Anhui Province has introduced fully biodegradable adhesive tape, which is now being produced on a large scale.
Additionally, Logistics firms are adopting more efficient packaging methods.
