The facility is designed as a live demonstration and experience hub for Epson’s flagship SurePress L-6534VW.

INDIA – Epson India has officially launched its new Digital Label Press Solution Centre at Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, reinforcing its commitment to advancing digital label printing in the country.

The facility is designed as a live demonstration and experience hub for Epson’s flagship SurePress L-6534VW, a high-speed UV inkjet digital label press tailored for demanding production environments.

Targeted at label printers, packaging converters, and manufacturing businesses, the new centre offers visitors hands-on experience with Epson’s cutting-edge label press technology.

Customers can engage in live print demonstrations, substrate testing, and receive technical consultations, making it easier to evaluate the machine’s performance under real-world production conditions.

The SurePress L-6534VW is built for short to mid-volume jobs of up to 1 million linear metres per month, with printing speeds of up to 50 metres per minute.

Equipped with PrecisionCore printheads, it delivers exceptional quality at resolutions of 600 x 1,200 dpi.

The press also features Epson’s Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT), producing fine details and sharp definitions with droplet sizes as small as 3.2 picolitres.

Additionally, the system includes digital varnish capabilities, enabling high-end label finishing with spot and matte/gloss effects.

With India’s packaging and labelling industry witnessing rapid growth, fueled by increased demand for on-demand, short-run, and high-speed label printing, Epson’s new centre arrives at a crucial time.

The facility will support converters and businesses looking to boost flexibility, efficiency, and customization in a competitive marketplace.

“This centre reflects Epson’s strategic focus on the Indian market, especially in the industrial print segment,” said Okuzono Kazuomi, General Manager, IIJ Sales and Marketing, Epson. “It reinforces our commitment to close customer engagement and delivering innovative solutions tailored to India’s evolving print landscape.”

Echoing the sentiment, Prabagaran S, Senior General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Epson India, added, “This isn’t just about showcasing a machine, it’s about empowering the Indian label industry to rethink production workflows, unlock creative potential, and gain a competitive edge through advanced digital technology.”

The launch of the Digital Label Press Solution Centre follows Epson’s broader push across Asia to democratize digital printing, with similar centres operating in Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

It places Epson in a stronger position to influence and support India’s shift from traditional flexo to agile, sustainable digital label production.
