INDIA – Epson India has launched the SureColor SC-G9030 Direct-to-Film printer at ₹13,89,997 (US$16,647) and the SC-F20030 dye-sublimation printer at ₹66,02,989 (US$79,089), targeting India’s rapidly growing digital textile market where exports are projected to reach US$65 billion by 2026.
The two new printers, announced on 24 June 2026, are designed to meet the evolving requirements of textile manufacturers, garment exporters and print service providers seeking reliable performance, superior print quality and continuous production capability.
The SC-G9030 delivers production speeds of up to 34.1 sqm/hr with 1200 × 600 dpi resolution, while the SC-F20030 achieves up to 295 sqm/hr at 600 × 600 dpi for high-volume textile manufacturing.
The launch follows India’s textiles and apparel exports reaching US$35.7 billion during 2024-25, with the Ministry of Textiles targeting US$65 billion by 2026.
How SC-G9030’s 1.6L Ink Packs and SC-F20030’s 10L Bulk System Enable Continuous Textile Production
Epson’s new industrial textile portfolio addresses the growing demand for faster production, customization and shorter delivery cycles in India’s textile sector.
The SC-G9030 features Epson PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead technology, an integrated front heater to reduce ink bleeding, 1.6L UltraChrome DF ink packs for extended runs, and Epson Edge Print Pro software for streamlined workflow management.
The SC-F20030 integrates eight 4.7-inch PrecisionCore printheads with a high-capacity bulk ink system to minimise downtime, making it suitable for sportswear, fashion apparel, home décor, soft signage and promotional products.
Prabagaran S, Senior General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Epson India, stated that India is rapidly emerging as a global textile manufacturing powerhouse, and the next phase of growth will be driven not just by production capacity, but by the ability to deliver speed, customisation and sustainability at scale, with digital printing becoming central to enabling manufacturers to reduce waste, optimise inventory and bring products to market faster.
What the digital textile market means for sustainable manufacturing practices
India’s textile and apparel sector continues to witness strong growth, driven by rising exports, increasing demand for customised and short-run production, and growing adoption of digital manufacturing technologies.
As the industry evolves, there is increasing focus on more sustainable production practices, with digital textile printing helping reduce material waste, water consumption and excess inventory compared to conventional analogue printing methods.
The SC-F20030 incorporates Epson Cloud Solution PORT for remote printer monitoring and production optimisation, while the SC-G9030’s integrated front heater improves output quality and reduces waste.
Epson continues to align product development with sustainability outcomes for industrial print environments, supporting textile manufacturers and print service providers looking to enhance efficiency, flexibility and speed-to-market.
