Fujifilm launches advanced Apeos multifunction printer range in South Africa

Apeos MFPs combine robust paper handling with minimal downtime, addressing the needs of fast-paced corporate environments.

SOUTH AFRICA – Fujifilm has officially launched its Apeos multifunction printer (MFP) range in South Africa, marking a major step in the company’s drive to deliver high-performance, secure, and sustainable office printing solutions tailored for A3 and A4 environments.

At the heart of the new Apeos series are Fujifilm’s Super EA-Eco toner and high-resolution LED printheads, enabling exceptional print precision of 1200 x 2400 dpi.

The Super EA-Eco toner, developed through more than six decades of Fujifilm’s expertise in toner science, features some of the smallest particle sizes globally.

This innovation ensures sharper text, finer lines, and stable gradients, while the LED printhead’s ultra-thin beam technology guarantees consistent colour accuracy, essential for maintaining brand integrity in professional print settings.

Designed for continuous high-volume operation, the Apeos MFPs combine robust paper handling with minimal downtime, addressing the needs of fast-paced corporate environments.

Security remains a cornerstone of the Apeos design. The range is certified under ISO/IEC15408 for IT security, ISO/IEC20243 for supply chain protection, and holds the Keypoint Intelligence BLI Security Seal for device penetration resistance.

These credentials assure users of the printers’ resilience against cyber threats and counterfeit component risks.

In line with the shift toward hybrid work, Apeos MFPs offer smooth integration with digital document platforms, enabling secure access and document sharing across multiple locations while maintaining compliance with data protection regulations.

The Apeos range is certified as part of Fujifilm’s Green Value Products, reflecting the company’s “Green Value” Climate Strategy.

The Super EA-Eco toner reduces fusing temperatures, cutting energy consumption by up to 54%** in glossy mode, while induction heating fusing technology eliminates preheating, further lowering power use.

The printers also incorporate recycled and bio-based plastics, aligning with Fujifilm’s commitment to circular manufacturing.

Fujifilm’s environmental stewardship has earned it an EcoVadis Gold Medal, underscoring its global leadership in sustainable production.

The Apeos C4030 and C7070 have earned Keypoint Intelligence’s “Highly Recommended” rating for outstanding reliability and output quality.

With the launch, Fujifilm joins global players like Canon, HP, and Ricoh, who are expanding their sustainable printer portfolios in Africa to support digital transformation and greener workplace operations.
