The alliance is designed to support print service providers, commercial printers, quick-print shops, and in-house corporate printing environments.

INDIA – Fujifilm India has entered a strategic partnership with technology distributor Redington to expand its footprint in the fast-growing digital and production printing market.
Under the agreement, Redington becomes the official nationwide sales and service partner for Fujifilm’s entry-level production, colour, and mono printers, marking a significant step in Fujifilm’s efforts to deepen its presence across India.
The alliance is designed to support print service providers, commercial printers, quick-print shops, and in-house corporate printing environments with advanced, high-performance, and cost-efficient printing solutions.
By combining Fujifilm’s printing technology with Redington’s vast distribution and service network, the companies aim to improve access, service reliability, and operational efficiency for customers across urban and emerging markets.
“We look forward to supporting India’s print industry as it transitions toward more digital, sustainable, and high-efficiency operations,” said Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India.
He noted that the partnership is closely aligned with Fujifilm Group’s purpose of “giving our world more smiles.”
Redington brings a strong national network of sales teams, service centres, and consumables management systems.
KS Ramesh, Head of Digital Printing at Redington, said the collaboration enhances the availability of innovative, affordable and sustainable print solutions.
“With Redington’s robust logistics and service backbone, we are ready to expand the presence of these printers across different corners of India,” he added.
Priyatosh Kumar, Associate Director and Head of Graphic Communications and Device Technology at Fujifilm India, underlined the market’s dynamism and the importance of localised support.
“By merging Fujifilm’s technology with Redington’s service strength, we can reach more customers, deliver faster response times, and tailor support to India’s unique operational needs,” said Kumar.
As part of the agreement, Redington will oversee end-to-end sales, distribution, installation, and after-sales service for Fujifilm’s entry production printers.
The distributor will leverage its extensive partner network and service points to ensure quicker product availability, shorter turnaround times and enhanced customer satisfaction nationwide.
The move reflects Fujifilm’s broader strategy of market expansion through strong local partnerships. Similar collaborations are emerging across India’s print ecosystem.
Earlier this year, Bindwel demonstrated the value of technology-service integration by helping Chennai-based Resh View and Exact International achieve major improvements in production quality and operational reliability, reinforcing the market’s rising expectations for robust engineering backed by strong service.
With this new alliance, Fujifilm and Redington aim to raise service standards and accelerate the adoption of modern digital printing technologies across India’s evolving print landscape.
