Hontec FlexiCon makes Spanish debut with MP Flexo installation

SPAIN – Hontec has officially entered the Spanish market with the installation of its FlexiCon 460-8C flexographic press at MP Flexo SL, marking the company’s first deployment in Spain.

The advanced 8-color servo-driven press is designed to deliver high-quality, efficient, and versatile label and packaging production for converters seeking faster turnaround and lower operational costs.

The FlexiCon 460-8C combines precision registration, modular design, and an energy-efficient drying system, enabling superior print quality across a wide range of substrates.

According to industry reports, the Spanish flexible packaging sector is expected to grow steadily at 4–5% annually through 2030, supported by sustainability regulations and rising e-commerce activity.

The FlexiCon 460-8C is also aligned with broader industry shifts toward energy efficiency and waste reduction. By offering faster setups and minimal material waste during job changes, the press helps converters balance cost efficiency with environmental performance.
