PAKISTAN – International Packaging Films has approved a ₨1.4 billion (US$5.0 million) investment through its wholly owned subsidiary Global Packaging Films to acquire a state-of-the-art metallizer, expanding production capacity for premium metallized packaging films and strengthening its value-added product portfolio.
The company notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange on 22 July 2026 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Packaging Films (Private) Limited, has approved the acquisition of a state-of-the-art metallizer with an estimated project cost of around ₨1.4 billion (US$5.0 million).
The investment aims to increase the group’s share of value-added packaging products while strengthening its manufacturing capabilities to support rising demand from both domestic and export customers.

The new metallizer will enhance IPAK’s production capacity for premium metallized packaging films, which are widely used in food packaging, pharmaceutical blister foils, decorative packaging, and industrial applications.

The company reported earnings per share of ₨8.15 for the fiscal year 2026, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 5.69.
