Kyocera’s seven new A3 MFPs target high-volume African workplaces

The new ranges give organisations more choice, based on volume, output, and workflow, with three colour and four monochrome models to suit different needs.

SOUTH AFRICA – Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa has launched seven new high-speed A3 multifunction printers, comprising three colour and four monochrome models designed for medium to large workgroups that manage high print and scan volumes.

The TASKalfa MZ9500ci colour series and TASKalfa MZ10500i monochrome series, announced on 24 August 2026, combine high-speed performance with scan speeds of up to 300 images per minute and a 500-sheet document processor.

The ranges are built around five everyday priorities: less downtime with Kyocera’s dual toner system that allows replacement while printing continues; faster, smoother workflows; intelligent automation; consistent output; and stronger security with AI-driven features designed to protect against evolving threats.

Features and Benefits for South African Businesses

Kyocera’s latest toner and advanced image processing technology, combined with an innovative water-cooling system in the TASKalfa MZ9500ci and MZ10500i series, work together to maintain stable operating temperatures, supporting sharp, consistent image quality across demanding print runs.

Built-in cloud-based business software digitises documents, captures key information and automates routine processes, helping organisations save time and reduce costs.

Security functions carried forward from previous models are reinforced with AI-driven features designed to help protect against evolving threats, including user authentication, secure print release and audit tracking.

For South African businesses managing sensitive information, document security increasingly forms part of everyday operations, with the new ranges helping organisations maintain greater control over documents and support POPIA-conscious business practices.

Local Support and Market Positioning

Greg Griffith, Product Marketing Manager at KYOCERA Document Solutions South Africa, stated that South African businesses want technology that simply gets on with the job, with the new devices designed to help teams work faster, protect their information and spend less time dealing with interruptions.

He added that by combining strong image quality with productivity, workflow and security features, the ranges give customers more flexibility as their document needs grow.

The devices are supported through Kyocera’s Managed Print Services offering and its accredited partner network across South Africa and the SADC region, providing customers with access to local product expertise, service support and ongoing fleet management.

The new ranges offer organisations greater choice based on their volume, output and workflow requirements, with three colour and four monochrome models available to match different business needs.

The launch extends Kyocera’s high-speed A3 portfolio for organisations that need reliable performance at scale, helping teams keep work moving, maintain consistent output quality and digitise information more efficiently.
