Morris Packaging invests US$60.9M in new flexible packaging facility in Kentucky, USA

USA – Morris Packaging, a leading U.S.-based packaging company, has announced a significant investment of US$60.9 million to establish a new flexible packaging production facility in Lebanon, Kentucky.

Spanning more than 100,000 square feet, the facility is poised to enhance the company’s capabilities in advanced printing and bag conversion, supporting its mission to meet the evolving demands of the flexible packaging market.

This state-of-the-art facility is designed to increase production capacity and serve as a reliable backup solution for customers nationwide.

Committed to quality and regulatory compliance, Morris Packaging confirms the new site will be built to meet stringent food-grade standards, ensuring safe packaging for food and other sensitive applications.

Scheduled for completion by October, the plant is expected to create 276 permanent job opportunities and significantly contribute to Marion County’s economy.

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear welcomed the move, stating, “This is the latest company to recognize the value of locating in Kentucky and the many strengths our state offers to ensure businesses thrive.”

The new Lebanon facility will also allow Morris Packaging to scale operations efficiently, with infrastructure designed for future expansion.

This investment aligns with the company’s broader growth strategy and reinforces its position in the competitive flexible packaging sector.

It also supports Morris Packaging’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, an area in which the company has built a strong reputation.

With headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois, and additional operations in Minnesota and Missouri, Morris Packaging serves various industries across the U.S., offering services such as sustainable packaging solutions, warehousing, inventory control, and logistics.

The new Kentucky plant is set up to enhance the company’s national reach and responsiveness.
