Unny brings over three decades of leadership experience.

INDIA — The Printers House (TPH), one of India’s longstanding manufacturers of printing and packaging machinery, has appointed industry veteran Pradeep A. Unny as its new chief executive officer.
The move signals a strategic push to strengthen operational capabilities and accelerate the company’s global growth trajectory amid rising demand for advanced printing technologies.
Unny brings more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning some of India’s most prominent publishing and printing organizations, including Amar Ujala Publications, Dainik Bhaskar, Express Publications and Impressions Printing & Packaging.
His extensive background covers large-scale production management, new plant launches, quality control systems and cost optimization initiatives, expertise that TPH says will be pivotal as it expands into next-generation flexographic and digital solutions.
Known for his growth-oriented leadership style and deep technical understanding of printing technologies, Unny has earned a strong reputation for aligning operational efficiency with strategic innovation.
At TPH, he is expected to focus on strengthening manufacturing excellence, improving customer responsiveness, expanding international distribution networks and building scalable systems to support long-term business expansion.
Rishab Kohli, director and promoter of The Printers House, said the appointment comes at a crucial moment.
“With the tremendous growth our company is seeing through the introduction of new flexo and digital products, at a group level we believe that we need the best talent to ensure maximum growth,” Kohli noted.
“Unny is already a prominent figure in our industry… we believe we will be able to create a lasting legacy and take the Indian printing industry to new heights.”
TPH, known for its flagship Orient presses, has been broadening its product portfolio to include technologically advanced, automation-ready systems geared for high-speed, high-quality packaging and commercial printing applications.
The company has also been increasing its export footprint, aligning with India’s rising competitiveness in global printing equipment manufacturing.
The appointment of Unny comes amid heightened activity in India’s print and packaging machinery sector.
In recent months, companies such as Bobst India, Heidelberg India and Uflex Engineering have announced expansions or product upgrades to meet growing domestic and international demand, driven by e-commerce growth, flexible packaging uptake and investments in automation.
As CEO, Unny will play a key role in steering TPH through this phase of expansion, innovation and global positioning.
His leadership is expected to reinforce the company’s commitment to delivering world-class, future-ready printing and packaging technologies to printers and converters across emerging and established markets.
