During the past 15 years, Liansheng Pulp & Paper has deepened its cooperation with Valmet through multiple equipment deliveries to its sites in Longhai and Zhangpu.
To Longhai, Valmet has previously delivered three corrugated paper machines (PM 5, PM 6, and PM 10).
As part of the customer’s Phase I development project at its new site in Zhangpu, Valmet has delivered a folding boxboard-making line (BM 1), a high-grade printing paper production line (PM 3), one BCTMP production line, and two tissue machines (TM 3 and TM 4).
Chen Jiayu, Chairman of Liansheng Pulp & Paper, says, “Liansheng Pulp & Paper is deeply committed to environmental protection and recycling, with a focus on developing a circular economy.”
“The Liansheng Zhangpu base is our first venture into using virgin pulp for pulping and papermaking. In the first phase of the project, Valmet’s unique offering and services laid a solid foundation for us, establishing our competitive position in the market. This is also the key factor why we chose to cooperate with Valmet again.”
Last month, Valmet received an order to supply Naini Papers with essential pulp and paper technologies at their facility in India.
Valmet will provide technologies, automation, and services for the cooking and fiber line rebuild of Naini Papers, as well as for the new specialty paper machine, PM 3, at its mill in Kashipur, India.
