Veritiv acquires Quick Pak in Tampa, Stickel Packaging Supply in New Jersey to expand Florida, Northeast reach

USA – Veritiv has acquired Quick Pak in Tampa and Stickel Packaging Supply in New Jersey, adding film products, strapping, tape, corrugated packaging, stretch film, and machinery to its packaging platform.

The deals extend Veritiv’s service coverage and product supply in Central Florida and the Northeast, regions where its presence has been more limited. 

Quick Pak was established in 1999 by Mike Cunningham and supplies film products, packaging machinery and components, strapping, and tape to businesses in distribution, food and beverage, and manufacturing. 

Stickel Packaging Supply, established in 1987, provides corrugated packaging, tape, equipment, and stretch film products to customers in New Jersey, the greater Philadelphia area, and Northern Delaware.

Strategic Fit for Veritiv

Sal Abbate, CEO of Veritiv, explained that these acquisitions reflect the company’s continued focus on disciplined, strategic growth. 

He noted that Quick Pak and Stickel Packaging Supply each bring complementary products, strong customer relationships, and experienced teams that align well with Veritiv’s packaging platform. 

The acquisitions follow Veritiv’s expanded collaboration with Packsize in March, targeting growth in automated corrugated packaging.

Stickel Packaging’s Family Business

Stickel Packaging Supply, now run by Jeanne Stickel and her two sons Christopher and Peter Borriello, has served the New Jersey, greater Philadelphia, and Northern Delaware markets since 1987. 

Chris and Peter Borriello commented that joining Veritiv marks an exciting new chapter for Stickel Packaging Supply.

A Tampa film supplier and a New Jersey corrugated distributor seem like local stories.
