Husky Webinar Alert: How to build a more sustainable molding operation: From strategy to success

GLOBAL – Husky Technologies has announced a global webinar scheduled for March 26, 2026, aimed at helping caps and closures manufacturers build more sustainable molding operations, from long-term strategy to practical implementation.

Titled “How to build a more sustainable molding operation: From strategy to success,” the online session will explore how brands, converters and producers can integrate sustainability into injection molding processes while maintaining productivity and part quality.

As regulatory requirements tighten and brand owners accelerate environmental targets, sustainability in molding is no longer limited to compliance.

The webinar will focus on future-proofing operations, whether through designing new sustainable food and beverage packaging, optimizing installed equipment, launching new production facilities or increasing the use of recycled PET (rPET).

The session will examine how industry players are leveraging advanced molding technologies, integrated system solutions and data-driven strategies to reduce environmental impact without compromising output or performance standards.

Learning Objectives

Among the key themes to be covered:

  • Building sustainability into molding systems from the ground up
  • Step-by-step strategies for transforming and upgrading existing operations
  • Practical approaches to successful rPET processing
  • Real-world case studies highlighting measurable sustainability gains
  • Leveraging Husky’s complete system solutions for long-term operational success

With growing demand for lightweight closures, recycled-content packaging and energy-efficient manufacturing, injection molders are under pressure to balance environmental objectives with cost control and production efficiency.

The webinar is expected to provide actionable insights for operations managers, sustainability leaders and technical teams seeking to align molding performance with corporate ESG targets.

Husky Technologies is known for its integrated systems for caps, closures, PET preforms and medical applications, supplying equipment and services to packaging manufacturers worldwide.

The company says the March 26 session will highlight how its end-to-end approach, covering machines, molds, auxiliaries and digital solutions, can support sustainable transformation across the value chain.
