CIDPEX 2026 to spotlight global tissue and hygiene market shifts as sector enters new growth cycle

The event features 5 exhibition, Tissue Paper, Hygiene Products, Raw & Auxiliary Materials, Equipment & Machinery, and Health & Elderly Care.

CHINA – The 33rd China International Disposable Paper Expo (CIDPEX 2026) is set to return on April 13–17, 2026, reaffirming its position as the world’s largest event for the tissue paper, hygiene products, and disposable paper value chain.

Organized by the China National Household Paper Industry Association (CNHPIA), the five-day event will feature the Focus Conference on April 13–14, followed by the main exhibition from April 15–17.

CIDPEX 2026 will span five dedicated exhibition zones, Tissue Paper, Hygiene Products, Raw & Auxiliary Materials, Equipment & Machinery, and Health & Elderly Care, covering upstream innovations and downstream market applications across the sector.

More than 1,100 companies from China and abroad are expected to exhibit, attracting over 50,000 professional visitors, including procurement teams, converters, retailers, e-commerce platforms and technology providers.

This year’s edition arrives at a strategic moment for the industry. China’s tissue and hygiene market has seen steady consumption growth driven by rising urbanization, increased awareness of personal hygiene, and product premiumization.

Meanwhile, global suppliers are navigating shifting fibre costs, automation trends and sustainability mandates.

In 2025, several major players, including APP, Hengan, Kimberly-Clark and Sofidel, announced capacity upgrades in China and Southeast Asia, signalling renewed investment confidence.

CIDPEX 2026 will also host a series of thematic forums dedicated to fast-evolving market channels and consumer behaviour.

Key sessions will feature platform insights from Tmall, JD, Taobao’s premium domestic brand channel, Xiaohongshu, Poizon and Amazon, along with “Lead” and “Innovate” showcases spotlighting new product launches and digital-first strategies.

An expanded elderly-care track reflects China’s rapidly aging population and the rising demand for adult incontinence products, a segment projected to outpace baby diapers in growth over the next five years across Asia-Pacific.

To support international participation, event organizers will provide a reception desk for overseas buyers within the Global Buyers Negotiation Area in Hall 3A.

The space offers meeting support, refreshments and assistance with supplier-matching. Organizers will also help global visitors connect with qualified suppliers from among the 1,000+ exhibitors and tens of thousands of attendees.

The Focus Tissue & Hygiene Conference will run across four tracks, Wipes, Market & Marketing, Tissue Paper and Disposable Hygiene Products, bringing together more than 800 delegates.

A simultaneous interpretation team will support multilingual sessions, while the centrally located “Table Show” will facilitate networking between delegates and solution providers.
