It comes in 350ml SIG SmallBloc cartons.

THAILAND – SIG has partnered with Lactasoy’s new brand, Benefitt, to introduce what is being positioned as Thailand’s first high-protein UHT milk, packaged in SIG’s compact 350ml SmallBloc cartons and distributed nationwide through 7-Eleven stores.
The launch marks a significant shift in Thailand’s protein beverage category, which has traditionally been dominated by chilled, pasteurized products with limited shelf life.
The Benefitt High Protein UHT Milk delivers 31g of protein per serving, catering to consumers seeking convenient nutrition without added sugar.
SIG noted that, until now, Thai consumers looking for high-protein dairy options were largely restricted to refrigerated formats that required cold-chain distribution and early consumption.
With aseptic processing, Benefitt’s new offering can be stored at room temperature, enabling broader reach, longer shelf life, and reduced logistical constraints.
Vatcharapong Ungsrisawasdi, Regional Director for SIG Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia, said the innovation highlights how flexible aseptic filling systems can open new categories for brands.
“By working closely with Lactasoy, we’ve supported the successful introduction of a high-protein UHT milk that reflects both evolving consumer needs and market growth potential,” he said.
The product is manufactured on the SIG Small 24 Aseptic filling machine, which allows rapid format changeovers and supports multiple carton sizes.
This gives producers like Lactasoy the flexibility to scale new product lines without major investment in additional filling equipment, an increasingly important advantage amid rising consumer demand for functional beverages and meal-replacement formats.
Phanwana Mahasup, Benefitt’s Advertising Manager and Marketing Coordinator, said the company aims to make high-protein milk “accessible, convenient and enjoyable” for diverse consumer groups, including busy professionals and health-conscious shoppers.
“The UHT format allows us to deliver high nutritional value without the need for refrigeration, and the SIG packaging gives us a solution that is easy to carry, easy to drink and suitable for nationwide distribution,” Mahasup added.
The Benefitt launch follows SIG’s continued expansion of advanced aseptic packaging across Asia.
In October last year, the company equipped Seoul Dairy Cooperative (SDC) in South Korea with its first recyclable aseptic carton using SIG Terra Alu-free + Full Barrier technology, the world’s first aluminum-free full-barrier aseptic structure.
The material significantly reduces environmental impact and has earned Korea’s official “recyclable” grade under national standards, enabling collection alongside chilled gable-top cartons, which have significantly higher recycling rates.
SIG’s innovations are positioning the company at the forefront of both functional beverage growth and sustainable carton development across Asia.
