L&Z unveils bolder, cleaner yoghurt packaging to enhance shelf presence

The new packaging blends nutritional value, cultural authenticity, and modern appeal, with the company promising every sip and spoonful still celebrates freshness and taste.

NIGERIA – L&Z Integrated Farms has unveiled refreshed packaging for its Greek yoghurt and Fura Da Nono ranges, featuring a bolder, cleaner and more modern identity designed to strengthen consumer connection and attract new customers who value both tradition and innovation.

The new look applies across all product variants, including sweetened and unsweetened Greek yoghurt as well as the traditional Fura Da Nono, a beloved West African blend of creamy yoghurt and millet grains.

The updated packaging is designed to be more visually striking on retail shelves, helping the brand stand out in Nigeria’s competitive dairy market while reinforcing its commitment to quality and authenticity.

The company’s packaging process forms part of its integrated value chain, covering production, processing, packaging and marketing.

Modern Design, Heritage and Consumer Appeal

By aligning its visual identity with contemporary design cues, L&Z aims to deepen its connection with loyal consumers while appealing to a younger demographic that prioritises both cultural heritage and modern aesthetics.

The refreshed packaging combines nutritional value, cultural authenticity and contemporary appeal, with the company affirming that every sip and spoonful remains a celebration of freshness and taste.

L&Z produces 100% natural dairy products from healthy, well-fed cows, with packaging designed to communicate the product’s freshness and natural origins at the point of sale.

The company also implements eco-friendly practices in its packaging processes to reduce its carbon footprint.

Dairy Value Chain Integration and Sustainability

L&Z operates across the entire dairy value chain, from production through processing, packaging to marketing.

Beyond packaging innovation, the company has been strengthening the dairy sector through partnerships, including distributing crop residue grinding machines to smallholder dairy farmers in Kano to transform agricultural by-products such as maize stalks and rice straw into nutritious livestock feed.

Additionally, L&Z and the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project distributed milk canisters to 50 smallholder farmers under the L&Z network to improve milk storage, reduce spoilage and ensure farmers can preserve milk quality for longer periods.

The company, founded in 2008 and headquartered in Kano State, Nigeria, has been recognised as one of the fastest-growing indigenous dairy farms in Nigeria with a vision to become a leading producer of high-quality fresh dairy products in Africa.
