Dadachanji Group launches KAISHA Pharma with US$50M glass packaging investment

The company’s 300,000+ sq ft complex will feature integrated production lines, high-end camera inspection, and advanced analytical/testing laboratories.

INDIA – Dadachanji Group has launched KAISHA Pharma, a new global pharmaceutical packaging company, with an initial investment of €45 million (US$50 million) to build a 300,000-square-foot manufacturing complex for tubular glass packaging products, including ampoules, vials, prefilled syringes, cartridges and Ready-to-Use platforms.

The company, announced on 4 September 2026, builds on the Group’s 35-year legacy in pharmaceutical glass packaging and will serve pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in India and global markets.

KAISHA Pharma’s solutions are designed to enable safer, faster and more efficient fill-finish operations while meeting the increasingly stringent requirements of global pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Speciality Containment Solutions for High-Value Biologics and Advanced Therapeutics

The company is developing speciality containment solutions for high-value biologics, advanced therapeutics and sensitive drug formulations, with a focus on product integrity, compatibility and performance.

Glass remains the preferred material for pharmaceutical packaging due to its non-reactive nature and stability during storage, with borosilicate glass of hydrolytic class I being the standard for injectable drug containers.

Ready-to-Use platforms for vials, prefilled syringes and cartridges are increasingly adopted by pharmaceutical manufacturers seeking to reduce fill-finish complexity and improve quality assurance.

Manufacturing Complex Features Fully Integrated Production Lines and Advanced Laboratories

The company’s manufacturing complex will span more than 300,000 square feet and will feature fully integrated production lines, high-end camera inspection systems and laboratories equipped with advanced analytical and testing equipment.

KAISHA Pharma is also establishing an International Business Development office in Europe to serve as a hub for customer engagement, technical collaboration and market development across the region.

The pharmaceutical packaging market is experiencing significant growth driven by the expansion of biologics, advanced therapeutics and sensitive drug formulations that require specialised containment solutions.

Industry Leadership and Global Ambitions

Kairus Dadachanji, Managing Director of KAISHA Pharma, stated that the company’s vision is to create a truly global company that combines entrepreneurial agility, technical excellence, and an unwavering commitment to customer success.

Rishad Dadachanji added that the new venture builds upon the trust earned over the years while embracing the opportunities of a rapidly evolving global market.

The investment represents a significant expansion of India’s pharmaceutical glass packaging capabilities, positioning KAISHA Pharma as a key player in the global supply chain for primary packaging components.
