Appointments Update: Fox River Associates names new President, Amtech Software and Michelman expand leadership teams

The appointments are expected to propel growth and strategic expansion.

USA – Fox River Associates has promoted Todd Auch to the role of President, and also serving on its advisory board, marking a significant milestone in his 17-year career with the company.

Throughout his tenure, Auch has played a pivotal role in leading Fox River’s sales and supply chain operations.

His leadership has contributed to strategic growth, strengthened supplier partnerships, and cultivated a high-performing, customer-focused team.

“Todd has been a tremendous asset to Fox River Associates,” said Duncan Wall, CEO of Fox River Associates.

“His focus on sustainable, profitable growth and customer success has helped position us as a trusted partner across all the markets we serve.”

As president, Auch will be responsible for customer engagement, operational execution, and supporting strategic planning efforts to advance the company’s footprint across the medical, tapes, composites, and industrial sectors.

Billy Medof joins Amtech Software Board of Directors

Meanwhile, Amtech Software has appointed packaging industry veteran Billy Medof to its board of directors.

The move reflects Amtech’s ongoing push to enhance its software offerings for the packaging industry.

Medof brings over two decades of leadership experience spanning packaging, procurement, and operations.

He currently serves as an operating partner at Altamont Capital Partners, where he supports investments in the packaging sector.

“Billy brings a rare combination of hands-on industry knowledge, commercial insight, and leadership experience,” said Chuck Schneider, CEO of Amtech Software.

“We’re thrilled to have his voice at the table as we build the next generation of packaging software.”

Medof previously served as CEO of Procure Analytics, president of Georgia-Pacific Corrugated, and was vice-chair of the Fibre Box Association.

Earlier in his career, he led M&A at Delta Air Lines and began his professional journey as a U.S. Army Field Artillery Officer.

“I’m excited to join the board at such a pivotal time for Amtech and the broader packaging sector,” said Medof.

“The company is well-positioned to help manufacturers modernize, and I look forward to contributing to that mission.”

Michelman expands digital printing team

In a related industry development, Michelman has strengthened its global digital printing team by appointing Andy Rae, Usue Palomares, and Tim Wieas, as part of its drive to enhance customer support and innovation in collaboration with HP Indigo press owners.

Andy Rae, based in the UK, has been named Strategic Account Manager for HP Indigo globally. With over 30 years in the print industry, including roles at Heidelberg, Koenig & Bauer, and Venn Holdings, Rae will lead key customer relationships across Europe and the Americas.

“Andy has a unique understanding of both commercial strategy and customer needs,” noted Lisa DiGate, VP of Global Digital Printing. “He’s an exceptional relationship builder.”

Usue Palomares, based in Luxembourg, joins as Business Development Manager for Digital Printing, EMEA.

Formerly with HP Indigo and Air Products, Palomares brings technical expertise in labels, flexible packaging, and chemical engineering, along with multilingual fluency and marketing acumen.

Tim Wieas, located in Michigan, assumes the role of Business Development Manager for Digital Printing, Americas.

With more than 20 years of experience in inks, coatings, and technical service, including tenures at Sun Chemical and Flint Group, Wieas is known for delivering practical technical solutions that support converter success.

“These hires represent a strategic investment in our digital printing business,” said Ralph Giammarco, Global Business Development and Applications Director.

“Usue and Tim have an instinct for solving customer challenges and will make a significant impact.”

All three new team members will represent Michelman at Labelexpo Europe, where they look forward to reconnecting with industry peers.
