Appointments Update: Sidel names new President and CEO, Billerud North America’s President departs

ITALY – The Tetra Laval Group Board has appointed Pietro Cassani as President and CEO of Sidel, effective 15 July 2024.

This follows Monica Gimre’s decision to step down after more than five years in the role and 41 years with the Tetra Laval Group.

Cassani has been CEO of the Marchesini Group for the past eight years and was previously SACMI’s Group General Manager for over 10 years.

With over 30 years of business and engineering experience, he holds an engineering degree from the University of Bologna and an MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management.

He will be based in Italy.

Billerud North America Division President departs

Meanwhile, Billerud has announced that Kevin Kuznicki, President of Billerud North America and a member of the Group Management Team, leaves the company to pursue other ventures, effective 14 June 2024.

The recruitment process for his successor starts immediately. In the interim, Tor Lundqvist, Deputy President and Senior Vice President of Operations for North America assumes the role of Acting President of Billerud North America.

ThePackHub appoints new technical services manager

ThePackHub has appointed Katie Roselaar as the new Technical Services Manager.

Roselaar, who has managed numerous technical projects for ThePackHub over the last year, brings extensive packaging experience and a proven track record in identifying market opportunities, engaging stakeholders, and providing practical solutions.

Paul Jenkins, Managing Director of ThePackHub, praised Roselaar’s project management skills and ability to understand client needs quickly.

Loma Systems appoints new UK Sales & Service Director

Loma Systems has appointed Ralph Mbanefo as its new UK Sales & Service Director.

With a 15-year background in the engineering and manufacturing industry, Mbanefo will lead the sales and service teams, focusing on fostering growth, exploring new sectors, and developing innovative strategies to expand Loma’s market presence.

He will report to Simon Spencer, Group Managing Director of Loma Systems. Mbanefo aims to standardize the sales and service approach to ensure consistency and excellence for Loma’s customers and foster a more unified and collaborative environment.

Spencer expressed confidence in Mbanefo’s ability to contribute significantly to the company’s growth and success.
