The Micro bottles allow for in-house decoration and assembly, helping SVR reduce transport-related emissions and costs.
FRANCE – Aptar Beauty has partnered with French dermocosmetics brand Laboratoire SVR to supply its innovative Micro airless recyclable bottles for three new skincare treatments.
Designed to preserve sensitive dermatological formulations, the bottles are made from polyethylene (PE) or post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and come in 15 mL, 30 mL, and 40 mL sizes.
Michael Hoer, Regional Platform Manager for Airless at Aptar Beauty (EMEA), noted: “Micro is gaining traction with brands thanks to its versatility and exceptional formula protection, especially in the fast-growing dermocosmetics sector.”
Aptar’s Micro technology offers a robust, fully recyclable airless packaging solution that complies with Ecocert and Cosmos certifications, which are key standards for organic and natural cosmetics.
“It is the ideal solution for brands demanding sustainable packaging without compromising on performance,” Hoer added.
Manufactured and decorated at Aptar’s airless specialist facility in Villingen, Germany, the Micro bottles allow for in-house decoration and assembly, helping SVR reduce transport-related emissions and costs.
“With Micro, SVR has found a packaging solution that protects its formulas, ensures optimal dispensing, and supports its sustainability commitments,” Aptar stated.
Airless packaging continues to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of sensitive skincare formulations as consumers increasingly prioritize recyclable and eco-friendly solutions.
Meanwhile, Aptar Beauty also advanced its sustainability leadership in the luxury segment through a recent collaboration with Guerlain on its L’Art & La Matière collection.
As part of the project, Aptar supplied two customized pump systems: the Sensea fragrance pump and the GSA dispensing pump, both designed to align with Guerlain’s refillable and environmentally conscious product lines.
The Sensea fragrance pump, known for its smooth actuation and fine spray at a 60-degree angle, is featured in all 100 mL and 60 mL Les Extraits Signature bottles, including the new Patchouli Paris Eau de Parfum.
Crafted at Aptar’s Le Neubourg facility in France, the pump is adorned with anodized gold finishing and engraved with Guerlain’s iconic double G monogram.
For Guerlain’s scented body lotions and soaps, Aptar provided the GSA pump, produced in Chieti, Italy.
This pump features a metal-free pathway to preserve product integrity, a twist-to-lock function for easy refillability, and a gold-anodized collar to match the brand’s premium aesthetic.
Both collaborations underscore Aptar Beauty’s commitment to delivering sustainable, high-performance packaging solutions for both dermocosmetic and luxury markets.
