Bobst partners with BJC Graphics to drive label technology growth in Thailand

The distribution agreement targets Thai label market expansion.

THAILAND – Global packaging technology leader Bobst has strengthened its presence in Southeast Asia by appointing Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC Graphics) as its exclusive distributor for in-line flexo technology in Thailand.

The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced label and packaging solutions in one of the region’s fastest-growing printing markets.

Under the agreement, BJC Graphics will distribute Bobst’s flagship in-line flexo presses, including the Master M5, Master M6, and Vision M1, which are designed to deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable label production.

These presses align with Bobst’s “four pillars of innovation”, automation, digitalization, connectivity, and sustainability, which help converters optimize workflows, reduce waste, and respond quickly to brand demands.

“We’re excited to collaborate with BJC Graphics to strengthen our presence in Thailand,” said Peter Woods, zone business director for PL Labels, APAC Region at Bobst.

“With BJC’s established market position and technical expertise, customers will benefit from world-class technology and exceptional local support.”

Thailand’s packaging and label sector has been expanding steadily, fueled by rising demand from food, beverage, and personal care industries.

With increasing emphasis on premium labels, shorter runs, and eco-friendly packaging, converters are seeking advanced technologies to stay competitive.

Industry analysts project Southeast Asia’s label printing market to grow at over 6% annually through 2030, with Thailand emerging as a hub due to its strategic location and strong FMCG sector.

By leveraging Bobst’s in-line flexo systems, Thai converters will gain access to technology that combines high-speed production with digital-like flexibility.

This will support the growing need for sustainable printing, such as reduced substrate waste and energy-efficient workflows, while also enabling value-added embellishments for premium packaging.

BJC Graphics, headquartered in Bangkok with over 140 years of business heritage, brings deep expertise in digital, flexo, and prepress technologies.

The company will host customer events, live demonstrations, and personalized consultations to showcase Bobst’s capabilities, while providing local training, colour management, and technical support.

“We have built our strong reputation on delivering advanced printing technologies and expert support to the Thai market,” said Paiboon Chutimapongrut, vice president, graphic system at BJC Graphics.

“This partnership with Bobst strengthens our ability to provide end-to-end solutions, helping converters improve efficiency, enhance quality, and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.”
