CCEP GB unveils exciting new PMPs for Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola ARTD range

UK – Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Great Britain (CCEP GB) has launched new price-marked packs (PMPs) for its Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola alcohol ready-to-drink (ARTD) range.

This strategic initiative is designed to help convenience retailers offer clear value to customers while driving sales.

Starting yesterday, August 19th, 330ml cans of Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola Original Taste and Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, priced at £2.39 (US$3.10), became available across Great Britain.

Elaine Maher, CCEP GB ARTD associate director, emphasized that value is a key motivator for shoppers in the convenience sector, followed by the demand for quality and trusted brands.

She noted that the price-marked options from the Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola ARTD range are a strong addition to CCEP GB’s portfolio, contributing to the £36 million in sales achieved since the product’s launch last year.

Maher highlighted that Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola Original Taste is currently the No.1 SKU in the ARTD category, making it an essential stock item for convenience retailers.

She encouraged retailers to stock up to boost sales and hinted at more price-marked offerings from the portfolio in the near future.

To support the launch, CCEP GB is providing point-of-sale (POS) materials and digital assets through its trade website, My.CCEP.com.

Additional marketing tools, including fridge trays and clip strips, will be available to retailers. This launch is part of a broader promotional effort that includes the “Born Ready to Reunite with Your Crew” campaign, offering consumers the chance to win £500 (US$650.85) in gig vouchers and retailers the opportunity to win £2,000 (US$2603.38) for a summer social, along with branded merchandise.

Sampling initiatives will also continue throughout the summer to encourage consumer trials and maintain brand visibility.

In related news, CCEP recently announced a US$105.5 million investment to expand its manufacturing capabilities in Australia.

The investment will fund a new Warmfill Line at the Moorabbin plant in Victoria, marking the largest single contribution to the company’s Australian manufacturing network.

This move is set to bolster the production of Powerade and Fuze Tea, catering to the growing demand for sports drinks and no-sugar variants.

The new Warmfill Line is a strategic addition to CCEP’s commitment to investment, growth, and sustainability in Australia.

The investment comes as the sports drink sector is expected to be one of the fastest-growing categories in the non-alcoholic, ready-to-drink sector.
