Colorix installs second Jetrix digital press in India at Artisan Venture

With shorter runs, faster turnarounds, SKU growth, and premium aesthetics driving demand, hybrid digital production is increasingly key for label makers, a shift reflected in Artisan Venture’s investment.

INDIA – Colorix has installed its second Jetrix-E hybrid digital label press in India at Artisan Venture in Ahmedabad, strengthening its expansion strategy across the country’s label and packaging segment.

The newly installed press features five-colour digital printing integrated with pre-flexo and cold foil units, delivering a hybrid production platform that merges digital agility with value-added capabilities of conventional label production.

Built around Jetrix’s digital, flexo and foil architecture, the press enables converters to produce premium labels with high print quality, decorative enhancements and efficient workflow integration.

The installation follows the successful commissioning of the first Jetrix digital label press at Swastik Arts in Mumbai, reinforcing growing market acceptance among progressive label converters seeking enhanced production capabilities and greater operational flexibility.

Market Shift Toward Versatile Production Environments

Demand continues rising for shorter print runs, faster turnaround times, SKU proliferation and premium packaging aesthetics, making hybrid digital production technologies increasingly important for forward-looking label manufacturers.

The investment by Artisan Venture reflects this industry shift toward more versatile and future-ready production environments.

Converters adopting hybrid platforms can address varied order profiles without maintaining separate dedicated lines for digital and conventional work, improving capital efficiency while expanding service offerings.

Leadership Cites Confidence in Jetrix Platform

Hariom Dave, head of department for the label and publication division at Orange O Tec, said the successful installation at Artisan Venture represented another important milestone in the Jetrix journey in India.

He noted that following the first installation at Swastik Arts in Mumbai, the achievement further validated industry confidence in the Colorix Jetrix platform and its ability to address evolving requirements of modern label production.

He welcomed Nikunj Shah, Kunal Patel, Virag Amin and the entire Artisan Venture team to the growing Jetrix family.

Artisan Venture Expands Premium Label Offering

Nikunj Shah, director at Artisan Venture, said the company was pleased to partner with Colorix and invest in the Jetrix-E hybrid digital label press.

He observed that the combination of digital printing, pre-flexo and cold foil offered a highly versatile production platform that would help expand premium label offerings and create new opportunities for customers.

He added that the company looked forward to leveraging the technology to deliver greater value and innovation to the market. Backed by local sales, service, application expertise and customer support, Colorix continues supporting converters transitioning to digitally enabled production.
