EndFlex unveils the Boxxer™ Wrap Around Case Packer for enhanced efficiency

USA – EndFlex, an ATS Company and a leader in end-of-line packaging automation, has announced the launch of its new Boxxer™ Wrap Around Case Packer.

Designed for various industries, the Boxxer offers a simple, efficient, and cost-effective solution, eliminating the need for costly change parts.

The Boxxer’s versatility makes it a preferred choice for businesses packaging a wide range of products, including electronics, food, consumer goods, apparel, pharmaceuticals, and hardware.

With frequent use in e-commerce and home delivery, it has also become essential for forming retail display trays.

The system excels at producing various tray types, such as lidded trays for product security, flat-bottom display trays for retail settings, and five-tuck trays with back display walls and inserts for more complex displays.

EndFlex’s Boxxer fully automates the tray-forming process, replacing manual operations with an efficient machine that saves time and resources by seamlessly forming both large and small die-cut blanks.

Additionally, the PopLok tray closer enhances productivity by automating the sealing process for lidded trays. Its automatic control system ensures trays are correctly oriented as they enter the machine, streamlining the process for precise results.

The tray’s dust flaps are neatly folded and tucked, while plow bars guide the lid into position. Afterward, the front lip flaps are securely locked in place, and a compression station accurately applies the final seal.

In 2022, EndFlex further expanded its automation solutions by developing the PKR modular pick-and-place cell, featuring a delta robot.

This system was specifically designed for packing flexible bags and packages, complementing the PKR Gantry, which handles rigid container products.

Both the delta and gantry robots offer top-load case and tray packing, making them adaptable for a variety of package styles.

“Our clients needed faster, more compact, and precise modular cells to stay competitive in their industries,” said Jorge Perez, Vice President of Operations at EndFlex.

“They trusted us to develop solutions tailored to their needs, and our team of engineers delivered a new generation of robotic pick-and-place cells. These systems address old packaging challenges with innovative new solutions.”

EndFlex’s modular pick-and-place systems are also customizable. They easily integrate into existing production lines or function as part of a complete packaging solution, giving businesses the flexibility they need to meet evolving demands.
