INDIA – Epson India has unveiled three new EcoTank models, the L6360, L6370, and L6390, expanding its popular ink tank portfolio for small and medium-sized businesses and corporate offices seeking high-volume, low-cost printing.
The new printers build on EcoTank’s decade-long dominance in India’s ink tank market, offering improved performance and efficiency in the mid-range business segment.
While Epson has not disclosed specific model prices, the company positioned the trio as affordable solutions for organizations focused on running costs and sustainability rather than upfront purchase price.
Each model is powered by Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which eliminates heat in the printing process, cutting energy use and extending printer life.
Epson claims the new models deliver ultra-low running costs, as low as 13 paise per black-and-white page and 43 paise for colour, with refill bottles yielding up to 8,500 black prints and 6,500 colour prints. Print speeds reach up to 18 ipm (ISO standard).
The printers offer robust connectivity with USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Ethernet options, along with automatic duplex printing across the range.
The L6370 adds duplex scanning with an automatic document feeder (ADF), while the top-tier L6390 includes fax functionality, catering to diverse office environments.
Epson said the new models reinforce its mission to deliver sustainable printing at scale.
“These EcoTank models are designed for offices that print continuously and need predictable, low-cost operations,” the company noted, adding that the devices also lower the environmental footprint by reducing power consumption and cartridge waste.
Globally, Epson has shipped over 90 million EcoTank printers, including 8 million units in India alone. The latest additions extend that footprint, targeting enterprises seeking reliable, cost-efficient, and eco-friendly print solutions.
Epson’s move comes as rival brands also expand their sustainable printer portfolios. HP recently launched its Smart Tank 790 and 580 series in India, offering refillable ink systems and energy-efficient designs, while Canon’s PIXMA G7070 line continues to cater to business users demanding high yield and low maintenance.
With the launch of the L6360, L6370, and L6390, Epson strengthens its lead in the ink tank segment, aligning with India’s growing shift toward sustainable, cost-effective office printing technologies.
