Epson launches next-gen SureColor signage printers in India, sets new standard in colour accuracy and sustainability

The printer expands the colour gamut by up to 19%, delivering exceptionally vibrant and accurate results.

INDIA – Epson has expanded its professional printing portfolio in India with the launch of its latest Eco-Solvent SureColor signage printers, the SC-S9130, SC-S8130, and SC-S7130.

The new series promises to redefine print quality, colour precision, and operational efficiency, while addressing the growing emphasis on sustainability in the signage and display industry.

At the forefront of the launch is the SureColor SC-S9130, hailed as the industry’s first 11-colour signage printer.

Powered by Epson’s exclusive UltraChrome GS3 ink set with a newly added green ink, the printer expands the colour gamut by up to 19%, delivering exceptionally vibrant and accurate results.

This capability makes it ideal for luxury branding, high-end signage, and visually demanding applications where colour fidelity is critical.

The SC-S8130, a 6-colour model, integrates Light Cyan and Light Magenta inks to produce smooth gradations and natural-looking images, catering to high-volume commercial environments.

For more cost-conscious operators, the SC-S7130 provides a reliable 4-colour solutio, optimized for banners, backlit displays, exhibition panels, and everyday signage.

One of the most notable innovations across the new series is the adoption of a single, larger PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead, replacing the dual-head configuration in earlier models.

This design not only enhances detail and sharpness but also improves print speeds, allowing businesses to increase output without compromising quality.

Additionally, Epson has shifted from traditional cartridges to high-capacity ink packs of up to 1500ml, reducing both operating costs and downtime.

This move also aligns with the industry’s growing shift toward eco-conscious printing, as it significantly cuts down on plastic waste and e-waste.

Smart connectivity and sustainable design

The printers come equipped with Epson Cloud Solution PORT, a digital platform that allows users to monitor print jobs in real time, manage multiple printers efficiently, and maximize uptime.

Compact, sleek, and workspace-friendly, the printers also feature advanced ink formulations designed to minimize environmental impact while maintaining consistent, superior output.

The signage and large-format printing industry in India is witnessing steady growth, driven by retail expansion, infrastructure projects, and demand for visually striking communication materials.

With sustainability becoming a core business priority, Epson’s new SureColor range positions the company as a frontrunner in eco-solvent, high-performance printing solutions for the Indian market.
