
INDIA – Hamdard Laboratories India (Food Division), renowned for its health and wellness products and beverages, has partnered with SIG to utilize its cutting-edge aseptic carton packaging and filling solutions.
This collaboration addresses evolving consumer demands for affordability, appropriate sizing, long-lasting quality, and convenience.
Hamdard has chosen the SIG XSlim 24 Aseptic filling machine for its Aurangabad (Maharashtra) manufacturing plant.
This advanced machine can fill 24,000 SIG XSlimBloc carton packs per hour and offers the flexibility to fill nine different volume sizes, ranging from 80ml to 200ml, on the same filling line.
The changeover time between pack sizes is less than 15 minutes, enabling Hamdard to adapt to consumer demands quickly.

Hamdard will use SIG’s filling technology to package new varieties of its iconic beverage brand RoohAfza, including milkshakes, lassi, juices, glucose drinks, and coconut water. These will be available in SIG XSlimBloc carton packs with a drinking straw.
Additionally, Hamdard plans to partner with other industry players to explore co-packing opportunities.
