SWITZERLAND – Hoffmann Neopac, a global provider of premium packaging and dispensing solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and consumer goods industries, has appointed Manfred Zurkirch as its new CEO, effective January 1, 2025.
Zurkirch, who has held key leadership roles at Thielmann AG, Ferag AG, and PackSys Global AG, brings extensive experience in the packaging and manufacturing sectors. He succeeds Mark Aegler, who stepped down in June after 13 years as CEO.
Peter Schildknecht, Chairman of Hoffmann Neopac’s Board of Directors since June 2024, expressed confidence in Zurkirch’s leadership, stating, “With Manfred Zurkirch, we have gained a CEO with strong customer focus and a clear commitment to innovation.
“He will help further strengthen our position as a leader in sustainable packaging solutions. I would also like to thank Stefan Pulfer, our long-serving CFO, for his interim leadership of the company until the end of this year.”
Zurkirch takes over from Aegler, whose departure was reportedly due to strategic differences with the Supervisory Board regarding the Group’s future direction.
SIG appoints Fabio Grazioli as Chief Supply Chain Officer
Meanwhile, SIG has named Fabio Grazioli as its new Chief Supply Chain Officer, joining the Group Executive Board on November 15, 2024.
Grazioli previously served as Vice President of Supply Chain, Procurement, and E2E Cost Leadership and as CTO for EMEA at Haier Group, a global leader in home appliances and consumer electronics.
With over 20 years of supply chain experience, Grazioli’s career includes roles at SC Johnson and Otis, where he led procurement and supply chain operations across Southern and Eastern Europe.
He later held senior positions at Whirlpool, Bosch’s BSH Home Appliances, and Haier. Grazioli holds a Management and Production Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano and will be based at SIG’s headquarters in Switzerland.
SIG CEO Samuel Sigrist welcomed Grazioli, stating, “Fabio brings an impressive track record in designing and optimizing customer-centric supply chain organizations. His hands-on leadership style will be instrumental as we continue to deliver innovative packaging solutions.”
These appointments mark significant leadership transitions for Hoffmann Neopac and SIG, which are positioning themselves for continued growth and innovation.
