UK – Beatson Clark has produced 70cl white flint glass bottles for Halewood’s new variant JJ Whitley range – a Lemon Citron Spirit drink.
The new bottles will be used on numerous products across the JJ Whitley Vodka and Gin lineup, including existing products such as Artisanal Vodka, Raspberry, Blood Orange and Vanilla.
More sustainable bottle updates have also been made across Halewood’s Whitley Neill and Dead Man’s Fingers spirits ranges, including Whitley Neill Apple & Red Berries Gin which has just launched in a new Beatson Clark bottle.
Halewood says one of the reasons it has returned to Beatson Clark is sustainability – the new bottles are made in the UK using 45% recycled material.
Scott Kilshaw, Supply Chain Director at Halewood Artisanal Spirits said: “Beatson Clark’s closed-loop recycling system ensures that large volumes of post-consumer glass are processed on-site and used in the production of its new bottles, significantly reducing the environmental impact of the manufacturing process.
“We’re pleased to unveil our new glass bottles from local suppliers Beatson Clark, showcasing our dedication to providing more sustainable solutions across our business to reduce our carbon footprint.”
Aegg launches new wine bottles
Meanwhile, Aegg Creative Packaging, a drinks packaging company headquartered in London has unveiled a distinctive line of wine bottles, exclusively obtainable through Aegg within the United Kingdom.
The company offers a diverse range of glass bottles suitable for a wide array of beverages, including spirits and cocktails, wine, non-alcoholic and low-alcohol options, as well as soft drinks and mixers.
The new range features Burgundy and Bordeaux bottles in flint and various shades of green, alongside a lighter ‘ecoglass’ wine bottle. Customers can choose between cork or thread mouth types.
The manufacturer is focused on sustainable practices, aiming for the bottles to contain 50% recycled glass while striving for Zero Waste to Landfill in their production plants by 2025.
Aegg’s meticulously curated range of flint spirits bottles is ideal for a range of spirits such as whisky, gin, vodka, and rum.
The standout product from this range is the ‘Yenice’ bottle, produced by a BRC-accredited manufacturer and exclusively available through Aegg in the UK.
Notably, the Yenice bottle is approximately 20% lighter than similar options, resulting in reduced carbon emissions during manufacturing and distribution. Despite its lighter weight, the Yenice bottle maintains exceptional quality and is fully recyclable.
