Option Print boosts digital capacity with new Canon ImagePress V800 investment

The Canon ImagePress V800 brings enhanced speed, colour consistency and sharpness to the portfolio.

INDIA – Vashi, Navi Mumbai-based Option Print has strengthened its digital production capabilities with the installation of a Canon ImagePress V800, marking the company’s first Canon press and signalling its continued push toward high-quality, high-speed digital printing.

Installed in June, the new press is already delivering strong results.

“The first machine from Canon India in our facility, this new iPR V800… is packed with advanced features and capabilities,” said Prabhu Meghji Ravriya, proprietor of Option Print.

He noted that the press has been contributing significantly to their digital printing output “since day one.”

Option Print operates multiple advanced digital colour production presses from different brands, each offering unique strengths.

Ravriya said this multi-brand ecosystem is central to the company’s value proposition, “We fulfil exactly what our customers want because we run a vast portfolio of best-in-class machines handled by a team of 20 skilled professionals.”

The company’s production unit hosts a diverse fleet that includes digital presses and wide-format printers, enabling it to deliver a full spectrum of products, from business cards to large outdoor promotional banners.

This versatility has positioned Option Print as a one-stop solution for commercial print buyers across Navi Mumbai.

The Canon ImagePress V800 brings enhanced speed, colour consistency and sharpness to the portfolio.

The press offers 80 A4 pages per minute and an industry-leading 2,400 × 2,400 dpi resolution.

Designed with a compact footprint, it enables high-volume output in limited production spaces. Ravriya described it as “a splendid machine for fast production of dazzling graphic prints in vivid colours.”

Option Print’s move mirrors a broader shift within India’s print industry, where commercial printers continue investing in next-generation digital production technologies.

Earlier this year, Bengaluru-based PrintWorks Digital added a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C4080 to meet rising demand for short-run, personalised print jobs, while Ahmedabad’s PrintOPoint upgraded to an HP Indigo 7K to expand into premium photo books and on-demand packaging.

In Pune, Spectrum Offset installed a Ricoh Pro C7500, citing the need for better colour accuracy and automation.

These strategic upgrades reflect an increasingly competitive landscape in which quality, turnaround time and versatility are critical differentiators.

With the addition of the Canon ImagePress V800, Option Print reinforces its commitment to delivering high-grade print solutions backed by reliable, modern technology.
