Print SA announces return of Women in Print Series 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa

This year’s event promises to deepen its impact by offering new opportunities for leadership development, mentorship, collaboration, and innovation.

SOUTH AFRICA – Printing SA is excited to announce the return of the Women in Print Series 2025, with the Johannesburg leg scheduled from August 8 to 27, 2025.

Under the compelling theme, “Empower, Innovate, Inspire: Shaping the Future Together,” the series reaffirms its commitment to empowering women in the print, packaging, and design sectors across Africa.

Following the success of past events in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, the Women in Print Series has established itself as a transformative force, inspiring and connecting women across the industry.

This year’s event promises to deepen its impact by offering new opportunities for leadership development, mentorship, collaboration, and innovation.

“The Women in Print Series is more than just an event, it’s a movement dedicated to elevating women’s voices and leadership within our industry,” said Abisha Katerere, Creator and Head of Business Development & Marketing at Printing SA.

“Having witnessed the transformative impact of our previous editions, we are incredibly excited to bring this empowering platform back to Johannesburg. We believe in the power of collective wisdom and innovation to shape a more inclusive and prosperous future for print.”

The Johannesburg event is expected to attract over 350 women from across the country and the continent.

Highlights include keynote addresses by influential industry leaders, discussions on leadership, innovation, and personal development, and curated networking sessions designed to foster meaningful professional connections.

Additionally, the event will feature brand activations from print, beauty, health, and wellness brands, creating a holistic and engaging experience for attendees.

Live entertainment and pampering sessions will add a touch of fun and relaxation to the empowering atmosphere.

Support from key government stakeholders, including the Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture (KwaZulu-Natal), and the FP&M SETA, will add further depth and credibility to the program.

These partnerships underscore the national importance of gender equity and economic empowerment in industrial sectors.

Visually, the 2025 series will incorporate an innovative design aesthetic, using abstract print iconography, geometric patterns, and digital textures to mirror the event’s technological and creative spirit.

As the countdown begins, Printing SA invites women from all corners of the industry to be part of this inspiring journey.

Join the movement in Johannesburg and help shape PrintHERstory, a future where women lead, innovate, and inspire across the African print and design landscape.
