This solution not only reduces the environmental footprint but also upholds the highest performance standards.

CANADA – Flint Group, a leading provider of inks and coatings for the printing and packaging sectors, has launched TerraCode Bio Bag SX02, the eco-conscious, high-speed printing single extender explicitly developed for industrial paper packaging applications.
This solution is specifically built to support industrial bag printers in lowering their environmental footprint while maintaining high-performance standards, even when incorporating significant levels of bio-renewable content.
The latest addition to the TerraCode Bio portfolio delivers performance on par with traditional extenders while offering substantial sustainability benefits.
With 80% bio-renewable content, it enables printers to reduce their carbon footprint by as much as 20% through the replacement of conventional materials.
Tailored for use alongside HexaCode bases, TerraCode Bio Bag SX02 supports high-speed printing at up to 600 metres per minute, and its optimized filler formulation ensures minimal misting and dusting, promoting smooth, low-maintenance production runs.
Introduced in 2019, TerraCode represents Flint Group’s line of environmentally friendly inks and coatings tailored for paper packaging.
The latest product expansion further demonstrates the company’s dedication to advancing sustainable packaging technologies.
“TerraCode Bio Bag SX02 enables bag printers to balance environmental responsibility with the demanding performance requirements of the industrial sector, offering an ideal solution for companies aiming to meet sustainability goals without compromising print quality,” remarked Product Manager for Paper & Board Europe at Flint Group, Alessio Crivellari.
“Developed from our trusted HexaCode Bag technology, TerraCode Bio Bag features high bio-renewable content and is engineered for high-throughput environments with reduced environmental impact. With this innovation, the industrial bag sector can now achieve eco-conscious printing more easily than ever, supporting a cleaner, more sustainable future.”
In March this year, Flint Group strengthened its footprint in Canada with the launch of a new distribution centre in Montreal, Québec.
The Montreal facility is set to enhance service for label and narrow web customers across Eastern Canada.
Effective immediately, the Montreal site will store and distribute Flint Group’s full range of water-based, UV-curable, and UV LED dual-curing inks and coatings specifically designed for narrow web applications.
