Idony’s offerings are described as vegan, cruelty-free, minimalist, and inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle.

SPAIN – Quadpack, a global beauty packaging provider, announced its collaboration with Spanish online beauty start-up Idony Cosmetics to supply 4.5 mL Gala dip-in packaging for lip tint, bronzer, and blush.
The packaging, made from monomaterial, recyclable PET, supports Idony’s vegan, cruelty-free, and minimalist brand ethos inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Marta Domínguez, CEO and founder of Idony Cosmetics, said, “Finding packaging that met our high-quality design, functionality, recyclability, and customization needs was challenging. Quadpack, a leader in sustainable beauty solutions, delivered exactly what we needed.”
The packaging features tailored applicators to enhance user experience.
The Dream Paint Bronzer and Blush use The Essential applicator, a round-tipped spatula with dual reservoirs to hold sufficient product, reducing the need for reapplication.
The Lip Bloom Oil & Tint employs The Irresistible applicator, a spoon-shaped design with a central reservoir and rigid tip for precise application of pigmented formulas. A custom wiper ensures optimal product loading.
The bronzer and blush bottles are clear with a frosted finish for a premium aesthetic, while the lip tint bottle is opaque to protect light-sensitive ingredients.
All feature pale cream caps and screen-printed branding. Domínguez noted that the packaging’s adaptability across different formulas maintained a cohesive look.
Quadpack’s team guided Idony through sustainable packaging options, selecting the Gala solution for its recyclability and functionality. Idony provided testing samples to Quadpack and its filling partner to ensure compatibility.
In related news, a recent industry development highlights growing momentum in sustainable beauty packaging.
According to a report by CleanHub on August 27, 2024, 95% of beauty packaging waste remains unrecycled, prompting brands to prioritize recyclable and refillable solutions.
CleanHub’s Vice President of Marketing, Nikki Stones, emphasized that adopting such packaging meets rising consumer demand for eco-friendly products, with 43% of shoppers willing to pay more for recyclable materials.
The collaboration between Idony and Quadpack, valued at an estimated US$50,000 for initial production, demonstrates how start-ups can leverage sustainable packaging to meet consumer expectations.
With only 10% of beauty packaging currently recycled globally, innovations like Quadpack’s Gala solutions are critical steps toward a circular economy in cosmetics.
