Safeco Hygiene Films boosts production with new 8-colour flexo press

INDIA – Safeco Hygiene Films Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of disposable hygiene films based in Vadodara, has expanded its production capacity by investing in a new Echaar Flexodelight 8-colour CI flexographic press. 

This advanced press enhances Safeco Hygiene’s ability to produce high-quality, multi-colour printed films for the hygiene market, reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation and meeting growing demand for sophisticated packaging solutions. 

The addition of this 8-colour flexo press aligns with the firm’s focus on technology and operational efficiency to better serve its customers with a broader range of customizable and precise film products. 

The machinery by Echaar Equipments is a high-performance, gearless flexographic printing machine designed for flexible packaging jobs, featuring advanced technologies such as a non-stop turret with auto splice on unwind and rewind controlled via touch screen, PLC programmable ink management including automatic washing and fast changeovers, carbon fiber components for durability and print quality, and a high-efficiency drying system adaptable to machine speed. 

It also includes automation features like automatic pre-register control, automatic deck positioning, and video scanning for precise print setup. 

The machine is supported by portable control panels along the press and safety systems, including LEL automatic solvent retention control. 

The electric control cabinet is a thermally insulated full-size maritime container housing all electrical components with air conditioning and easy access. 

This press is available in various models with printing widths typically from 800 to 1600 mm and speeds up to around 300 to 800 meters per minute, supporting solvent, water-based, UV, and EB inks, aimed at providing operational efficiency, high print quality, and user-friendly controls for a wide range of flexible packaging applications.
