NIGERIA – Yalo, a leading conversational AI platform, recently launched its conventional AI platform in Nigeria through its partnership with the Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA) and Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc.

This symbiotic partnership arises from a collective imperative to address environmental exigencies and champion conscientious business practices.

Unified by their ardor for attaining ecological sustainability through technological innovation, Yalo and FBRA aspire to effectuate positive societal transformation.

Manuel Centeno, Yalo’s Vice President of Sales, expressed elation over the collaboration with FBRA, envisaging a paradigm shift in recycling practices and the trajectory of sustainability in Nigeria.

“Leveraging our cutting-edge AI technology, we are poised to proffer solutions aimed at fostering awareness regarding recycling, responsible waste management, and mitigating packaging carbon footprint within the food and beverage sector. We are poised to unlock novel avenues for advancement,” remarked Centeno.

Through Yalo’s avant-garde platform, FBRA endeavors to propagate awareness regarding responsible waste management, recycling, and curtailing packaging footprint within the food and beverage domain, simplifying sales, tracking behavioral patterns, and fostering authentic rapport through interactive conversations.

Agharese Lucia Onaghise, Executive Director of the Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance, underscored the transformative potential of the partnership in effecting positive societal change, waste reduction, and augmenting recycling rates through the circular economy paradigm in Nigeria.

“This collaboration will galvanize advocacy efforts to combat plastic pollution and furnish technological solutions for sustainability initiatives nationwide. It will catalyze a constructive shift in waste management practices, heightening awareness to propel Nigeria towards a sustainable future,” remarked Onaghise.

Emphasizing Yalo and FBRA’s capacity to engineer conversational solutions conducive to effective communication, information dissemination, and stakeholder engagement in bolstering recycling and sustainability endeavors in Nigeria, Onaghise elucidated the transformative potential of such initiatives.

Last June, FBRA collaborated with British American Tobacco (BAT) Nigeria to inaugurate a post-consumer waste recycling initiative.

This initiative builds upon BAT Nigeria’s extant dedication to environmental stewardship, with the firm reportedly achieving a commendable milestone of operating at a 100% zero waste to landfill within its factory premises, ensuring comprehensive recycling of all generated waste.

FBRA asserts that this recycling initiative signifies a magnification of its ongoing endeavors, emblematic of its unwavering commitment to fostering a pristine and verdant environment.
