Securikett’s highly translucent paper-based security seals combine VOID technology with packaging visibility

GERMANY – Securikett has launched highly translucent paper-based security seals with fibre tear effect or VOID technology, designed to provide tamper-evident protection while allowing underlying text and design elements to remain clearly visible on folding cartons.

The new seals expand Securikett’s IT’S PAPER series beyond previous opaque and semi-translucent variants, enabling brand owners to integrate tamper-evident features without redesigning existing packaging. 

The labels are suitable for industries including pharmaceuticals, where secure sealing and regulatory compliance are critical, while also offering a sustainable alternative to conventional plastic closure seals. 

Paper-Based Security and Packaging Aesthetics

The highly translucent seals allow packaging designers to maintain visual appeal while adding security features, addressing a common challenge where tamper-evident solutions often compromise brand presentation. 

The seals are available with either a fibre tear effect, which leaves visible evidence of opening, or VOID technology, which leaves a permanent “VOID” message upon removal. The products can be applied to folding cartons made of paper or cardboard, with the transparency ensuring that brand messaging remains clearly legible. 

The translucent design also simplifies application, as the seals can be positioned without obscuring critical packaging information such as barcodes, ingredients or usage instructions.
