The new press is a complement to an existing Proflex 330 that is already operational within the company.

UK – Leicestershire-based Advance Labels, a UK label printing company, has installed a second Proflex 330 flexographic press from Focus Label Machinery to increase its production capacity.
The new press complements an existing Proflex 330, enabling the company to handle medium to high-volume label production for various market sectors.
The Proflex 330, designed for high-speed and flexible output, features a modular build that supports future upgrades and diverse configurations to meet specific application needs.
According to Focus Label Machinery, the press includes fast-change cylinder systems and multiple drying options, such as infrared, ultraviolet, and LED UV, allowing printing on substrates like unsupported films and cartons. A 250mm-wide version is also available.
David Gregory, managing director of Advance Labels, stated, “We are constantly seeking new manufacturing processes and have invested significantly in this advanced printing technology.”
He highlighted the company’s 100% staff retention, emphasizing its family-owned ethos, and noted that the business has grown by approximately 20% annually over the past three years.
The investment strengthens Advance Labels’ ongoing partnership with Focus Label Machinery.
James Thomas, head of sales at Focus Label Machinery, said, “Our collaboration with Advance Labels combines their market expertise with our printing and finishing capabilities, creating new opportunities for quality production.”
In addition to flexographic presses, Focus Label Machinery offers hybrid and digital presses, as well as finishing solutions for narrow web printing.
A report by a leading packaging news outlet indicates that UK-based label printer Secura Labels recently installed a Proflex 330E with LED UV curing to reduce energy consumption and emissions.
