Cosmo First earns ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Excellence

INDIA — Cosmo First Limited, a leading manufacturer of specialty films and packaging materials, has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, reaffirming its commitment to information security, risk management, and continuous improvement across its corporate headquarters and manufacturing sites in India.

The certification covers a wide operational scope, including the manufacturing of PP, PET, and PET-G films, rigid packaging, specialty chemicals, window films, and paint protection films.

Achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the internationally recognized standard for information security management systems, demonstrates Cosmo First’s structured approach to identifying potential cyber threats, implementing effective safeguards, and continually strengthening its digital resilience.

Earlier in 2024, Cosmo Specialty Chemicals, a wholly owned subsidiary, and Cosmo Sunshield, the company’s window film division, both earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for their quality management systems.

These certifications recognize excellence in the design, development, manufacturing, and delivery of adhesives, coatings, masterbatches, and window film products from the company’s Waluj, Aurangabad facility.
