Cosmogen debuts elegant aluminum brush set and multi-use refill stick

This modern, ferrule-free design is not only visually striking but also aligned with eco-design principles by reducing unnecessary material use.

FRANCE – French packaging specialist Cosmogen has unveiled a new set of portable makeup brushes and an upgraded version of its ReUse stick, further strengthening its position in the eco-conscious beauty packaging sector.

The newly introduced on-the-go brush set includes four essential makeup brushes housed in a sleek, gold aluminum handle, notable for eliminating the traditional ferrule, the metal ring typically used to attach bristles to the handle.

This modern, ferrule-free design is not only visually striking but also aligned with eco-design principles by reducing unnecessary material use.

Complementing the brush set is the latest iteration of Cosmogen’s ReUse stick, a watertight, reloadable applicator suitable for skincare or makeup formulas.

While the original version was crafted entirely from monomaterial polypropylene, the new ReUse stick introduces a luxurious aluminum overshell, available in silver, rose gold, and gunmetal finishes.

The stick allows users to refill the product, helping to minimize single-use plastic waste.

These innovations were showcased during Luxe Pack New York 2025, an influential trade show for creative and sustainable luxury packaging solutions.

The aluminum brush and ReUse stick are the latest in a series of sustainable packaging solutions by Cosmogen.

In recent years, the company has rolled out several pioneering formats that combine aesthetic appeal with eco-responsibility.

One such development is the Paper Stick, a 100% paper-based alternative designed for solid formulas like deodorant or makeup, offering recyclability without sacrificing style.

Cosmogen has also introduced a PET-based makeup line, using both virgin and post-consumer recycled (PCR) polyethylene terephthalate, featuring compacts, two powder palettes, and coordinated makeup brushes.

These efforts align with the brand’s broader commitment to circularity and recyclability.

Beyond color cosmetics, Cosmogen has applied its expertise in functional packaging to skincare and sun care products.

Notable examples include the Baby Roller applicator designed for Deinde’s eye cream and an ergonomic closure system for Babytika’s SPF+50 sunscreen range, a user-friendly innovation catering to both adults and children.

As the beauty and personal care industry accelerates its shift toward sustainable and refillable solutions, Cosmogen continues to lead with purpose-built innovations that marry elegance, practicality, and environmental stewardship.
