INDIA – Domino is set to debut its latest innovation, the N610i-H press, at Labelexpo India 2024, marking a significant advancement in digital printing technology.
This new press, showcased live at UV Graphic Technologies’ booth opposite Domino’s, will allow attendees to experience its capabilities firsthand.
The N610i-H press is designed with label converters and commercial printers in mind, particularly those aiming to transition into digital printing for labels and packaging.
Equipped with inline priming, varnishing, and five-color digital printing (CMYK + White), this press enables users to achieve high-quality results efficiently.
Its integration with the Esko Digital Front End streamlines operations, facilitates precise color matching, and supports variable data printing, enhancing productivity for various applications.
Key features of the N610i-H press include its speed of up to 50 meters per minute with all colors, delivering prints with a native resolution of 600 x 600 DPI and four greyscales.
The machine supports a maximum web width of 340mm and utilizes the Domino UV92 and UV95 ink sets, which ensure excellent adhesion and resistance to extreme temperatures, sunlight, and abrasion.
Additionally, the dual-bar white ink provides up to 72% opacity, creating screen-like, impactful prints with the flexibility of a digital process.
For non-direct food packaging applications, the TPO-free UV95 ink set is suitable under specific conditions and complies with EuPIA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The press is compatible with a variety of substrates, including self-adhesive labelstocks, shrink sleeves, in-mold labels, and flexible packaging films.
Although the N610i-H is launching at Labelexpo India, it is based on Domino’s well-established N610i platform, which boasts over 300 installations globally.
In India, companies such as Unick Fix-a-Form & Printers (Ahmedabad), Jain Transfer Products (Noida), SCCI India (Bhiwadi), and Multi–Label Tech—Print (Ahmedabad) have already adopted the N610i press, boosting their operational efficiency and unlocking new business opportunities, even in challenging times.
Domino will also display the Domino K300 at the event. This fast, reliable monochrome digital coding machine is optimized for variable data printing, including 2D codes, barcodes, and serial numbers.
The K300 operates at speeds of 240 meters per minute at 300 DPI and 120 meters per minute at 600 DPI, with a maximum print height of 54.1mm.
It supports both aqueous and UV-curable inks and features a smart user interface via a 5-inch TFT touchscreen and the QuickStep K Windows 10 app for diagnostics and label management.
